At 42g and 63.5mm in length, the bipod base reduces rotation when loaded from above, keeping the hook in position on moves where a round-base design would walk off the feature during body-weight loading. The Cliffhanger covers small to medium flakes, edges, and rugosities on technical aid lines where the placement is the margin between progress and retreat. A short sling of 13mm webbing is required for use and not included.
